Matthew is a Knoxville native who received his undergraduate degree in Political Science from the University of Tennessee in 2020. He graduated with high honors from the University of Tennessee Winston College of Law in 2024. While in law school, Matthew achieved an Academic Excellence Award for his outstanding performance in the Tennessee Administrative Law Seminar. Matthew also participated in the College of Law Legal Clinic where he assisted local small businesses and non-profit organizations on a variety of matters, including contract interpretation, copyright registration, and obtaining tax-exempt status.
Matthew has a broad practice that focuses on business litigation, construction litigation, toxic torts, and product liability litigation. He also represents property owners and management companies in the residential housing industry, helping them resolve a variety of tenant and lease disputes.
Matthew is a member of the Knoxville and Tennessee Bar Associations.
When he’s not in the office, Matthew enjoys spending time outdoors with his wife, Lily, and their dogs, Annie and Pippin.
